Future Projects For Camp Louis Ernst

Our organization is currently fundraising for a number of restoration special projects. 2021 is going to be a big year and we could not do it without you. All donations made in support of Camp Louis Ernst directly benefit improvements and programming at the camp. See what we have already accomplished and browse our future project plans.

Completed Projects:

New dining hall roof, new gravel applied to camp roads, gateway repaired and cleaned, new entrance gate ordered, power restored to pole barn, and replaced broken water hydrants.

Establish Designated Camping Areas

Creation of two dedicated camping areas including scout camp and primitive camping.

Dining Hall Improvements

Upgrade dining hall facilities to support additional outings and private rentals including stoves, tables and chairs.

Create New Outdoor Outdoor Cooking Shelters & Showers

Creation of two cooking shelters, a primitive water station and outdoor showers.

Establish A Trail System

Restore and create trails, install trail markers and establish a wetland preservation program.
